The one and only time I tried to beat the train back to Rockside from Akron, I succeeded - barely. The long stop in Peninsula was what helped.

And I figured traffic is slow there and most drivers are used to watching for buggies. By the way I saw an alert that the portion from Tare Creek to the fire station is closed for emergency repairs the next few days.
I'm guessing you crossed to the southern section behind the pharmacy? I don't love road riding but usually just grin and bear it for 608/87. Bridge Road is a nightmare so I haven't been to SCR this year.
