I got sent down a little pelican... rabbit hole?... on YouTube a little while back. They can be shockingly aggressive when it comes to eating. Lots of clips of them snatching ducklings, swallowing full grown pigeons, penguin chicks, etc.
The repeated attempts, even after it's clear that the capybara just won't fit remind me of Rango playing bitey face with Dory when she was little - he could almost put all of her in his alligator mouth.
