First 40 miles on the Holdsworth this morning. Felt really nice - definitely a more aggressive position that I need to adapt to. Overall it's very smooth and not terribly stiff.
Climbing in the saddle feels good - feels quite "springy". Maybe that was just the seatpost flexing. I kind of wish it responded a little differently out of the saddle but it's fine. I suppose if I actually lose some weight it will feel a little differently.
Very confidence inspiring downhill, I set a
PR coming back down the main climb today. Kind of hoped to
PR the climb, but I just wasn't feeling it and it's got direct sun over a lot of it at the time of day I was climbing.
Overall though, I set PRs on 17/31 segments and at least 3rd quickest efforts on 24/31 segments so I'll call that a good first ride
