Not to send my own thread off topic but there is also a Synapse Carbon Ultegra available. It is own known excellent bike although a bit more expensive and not as pretty, IMO, as the Caledonia Would the Synapse be a smarter selection since it has a reputation for being a great endurance bike?

I do appreciate all of thoughts.
