Bikes: I hate bikes!

BTW, how does that stack up against your Rivendell?
It is a much nicer ride than than anything else that I own. I have two rivs and a retso mod Ritchey road. Its only been a couple of hundred miles but the Lyon beats them all. Its basically like I took the best attrubutes of the other three and put them in one bike. I don't do lots of data harvesting of my rides but when I ride this bike on the routes that I ride regulalry, the Rides With GPS app keeps telling me I just did a personal best. My conditioning is pretty much the same

It weighs 22.5lbs with saddle, pedals and bottle cages which is a half a pound heavier than the Riv Legolas. The wheelset is has been on the Legolas and the Ritchey previously. I was a skeptic when it came to the BQ "planing" stuff but with the 7/4/7 top tube and light weight downtube this bike really feels easier to ride for the same amount of effort that I put out.

FWIW, this was another persoms "custom". I am glad I took the chance on it. Now seriously thinking about selling two of the other three.
