I feel like the first 3 rides since I got back from almost 2 weeks off the bike (last Friday, Sunday, and Tuesday) I was 'off'. While riding, I felt like I was going reasonably hard, but my times weren't great, and I was sore for a longer time after. Tuesday's ride was one of those 'Legs just don't have it' rides.

Last night was a lot better. I felt more 'at one' with the bike, even though it was Mrs. Peel and not one of my brifter bikes. Even with friction shifting, it felt like I was in tune with the bike. Maybe I've recovered from the rest? Next ride is tomorrow, unless I convince Mrs. GJ to clear her stuff out of the garage so I can Zwift (that woman is like a gas - her stuff expands to fill any available space)
