The last few years of working took a lot out of me and I thought retirement would be like being 50 again.
Instead, it took months to make substantial gains but it finally did start happening. I got to where I was feeling pretty good and friends even noticed. Still need more rest than years ago and I get sore sometimes when I don't think I should. Like doing a 60 mile ride and feel fine during the ride but later feel like I did a lot more. Weird.

Then last month I really overdid it and now all bets are off.
