Marioni is a relatively small builder, even though it is a known brand in your area(and elsewhere too, kinda).
Brands that build in house with aluminum are pretty rare now and weren't exactly common in the early 00s.

Specialized uses aluminum tubing that is branded under their own system. A1 tubing, for example.
Maybe they paid Columbus some money 15 years ago for the privilege of a Columbus sticker. I know slx tubing, which is steel, was briefly used as a name for aluminum for some absurd reason.

Anyways, comparing the decisions of Marioni to that of Specialized is nuts. They are a totally different market.
