I am original owner of a Pinarello Stelvio from 1999.
It is in top shape and i really want to keep it.
Problem is the gearing is too high for my advancing age and recent move to more hilly terrain.
It has full Campagnolo Record group with 52/42 chain rings and 9speed 11-28 cassette.
I've done some research and it seems i cannot get bigger cassette.
Next idea is to get sub- compact crankset. Either one that uses tapered BB axel that's on the bike or replace BB and use a modern crankset. It would be great if i could get 32-42 chainrings but 34/44 ok too.
I might have to make an adapter for the front derailleur position, but have CNC and probably work that out.
