It hurts? Look carefully at the tables of contents for two years of a given magazine. The last issue seems like you've seen it before? You have! So instead of, say, 10 -15 years of magazines, you're giving up two years' worth. Now look again; are they reusing the same adjectives to describe the latest and greatest? Now you figure out that there's only about 3-6 months of content, and the rest is recycled already -- only on how they're trying to sell the latest bikes.

If, after all that, you miss something, you can hit the newsstand for the next few months to restock.

Love ya,man! I think I kinda used the same kinda thought process. I did start to see the same things…I love old road bikes, the newest doesn’t always appeal to me…I liked to read about them…but I was never convinced/seduced sufficiently to move out of my favored era…
