I own a Champion Special, a Champion Flyer, a Colt and I bought myself another Champion Special in green for my birthday on Sunday. The Champion Flyer is the most comfortable. The leather is thinner and the springs really help. It just doesn't look right to me on a lightweight road bike, so I put it on my wife's mountain bike. She loves it. The Colt is the least comfortable. Brooks called it their top touring saddle at one time, but it never caught on. I knew why the first time I sat on it. To be fair, it was on a bike that came from a hot, dry climate and it's very dried out. Proofide hasn't helped. I may try neetsfoot oil on it. It's also kind of ugly. It was Brooks' attempt at an aero saddle when aero was the big thing in road bikes.
I've never tried any of the Brooks racing-style saddles. I've never been that kind of rider.
