Since the wire guides/clips will see very little tension on them and should one come off the results is not likely to be a immediate safety situation I sat YES, simple plumbing solder should be fine. Consider looking at the K&S model metal tubing offers before making your own clips. They offer cool brass tubes in small diameters and thin walls that are easily manipulated, filed, sanded. Andy
