Because there are SO MANY CYCLISTS around here, getting a 'Local Legend' for a segment suggests I may be stuck in a rut. However, I really don't mind riding the same routes over and over, so that's not a problem for me. The other thing about the number and caliber of the cyclists hereabouts is that I will never, ever take a KOM, unless the segment is something like going up the steps from the garage in my house.
I like to keep getting PRs on segments, but I don't go out trying to get specific ones. I just ride, and sometimes ride hard, and it happens or not.
