Only 1.5L for a metric century? That seems low. I did almost 140km (85 miles) in rainy weather yesterday and drank about 5.5L over the course of the ride.
I find my water intake goes up dramatically after about 50 miles. I rode an imperial century yesterday in cool weather, and easily 90% of my water intake happened after the 50 mile mark.
