In 2017 I commuted nearly 4K miles and averaged about 17+. It didn't really matter which bike I used. Tried it with my Rockhopper with suspension fork or rigid with 2.1" tires or the Pinarello Montello with 23's or the Langster with 48/16 gearing.
ts the damn traffic!
Since moving south, not so many miles. Couple of hills here that encouraged me to move to a triple on the Pin.
