woot!!! My "real" fixie is together far enough to be test ridden!
My other package from gnashbar containing lockring, tubes, and chain showed up this afternoon shortly after I got back from Sibley with my donor frame.
I don't have a working brake yet, but I still have Sugino cranks, a different cog, and moustache bars on the way from aebike. I could really stand a longer stem for the time being, so I'll be scrounging around the basement.
I'll probably be riding the new bike tomorrow, since I kind of disassembled part of the other bike to get working cranks, etc. It's either that or the tallbike, and I know how insecure y'all are around something bigger than you... ;-)
