That's a one-minute fix with a file.
Clamp a hex key horizontally in a vice, stick the mounting bolt on it, and file a flat where the damage is.
Ya, I have some needle files and was going to try and chase the threads with those. Ended up finding a replacement for cheap so didn't bother.
