Really good point and concern about the drivers also being blinded and making harder to see a cyclist. Also, I bet many of them will still be looking at their phones
I always turn on my bike lights here in LA, day or night. Also I ride with a bluetooth speaker both for the tunes and as a way to alert drivers and pedestrians. Also I don't like riding at night, unless I'm riding in a group. I've seen way too many bike accidents and white bike memorials...I definitely don't want to be either!
