Agreed. I don't chase the numbers - I push myself and know when I've done well for the day!
Missing the point of this fun exercise. It's not about what number the top speed is, it's about showing that all my bikes are actually pretty much as capable as the rider is and that no frame material, age, drivetrain setup, country of origin, etc really means anything. "It's all about the engine"
Well .....unless it's a Cannondale it appears.

Today I've got the Softride sitting in front of me waiting to finally get it's first full ride under me ever. Not planning on trying to get this one into the club today but who knows.
This is how it'll be going out today except for a minor adjustment I made tilting the nose of the saddle down a bit. One of my heavier bikes at 23 lbs 5 ozs as it sits.
