I've decided to give the Power Grip routine a try. It's somewhat of a long story how I came to this decision, but in a nutshell:
- Different length legs (~ .50 inches longer right leg)
- Right Foot Toe-out angle issue (Toes out at a 20 degree angle)
- Money
- Happy and comfy with my platforms, but worried about feet being "kicked off" pedals when hitting a good bump and going fast (happened once so far and it was not a big deal - but I've read that this can lead to a more serious mishap!).
- Not wanting to get into ordering different length cranks (also money)
Anyway....My Rans Rocket came with Wellgo LU-897 pedals and I'm wondering whether to keep these pedals and add the Grips, or buy the Grips with pedals in a kit. The pedals that come in the kit (high end kit that is) are described as:
Item Number: ZPG-PEDAL-DLX Pair of ultra-lightweight, all-aluminum pedals: 255 grams/pair, aluminum body and cage, sealed cartridge bearings, precision ground chromoly spindle, low profile platform.
They can be viewed at:

A worthy upgrade from the LU-897's, or a waste of money? Thanks, Rich
