If she is buying versus leasing, she should get the gas version. Too much unknown to buy an EV of any type according to my research.
Gasoline with the 100k mi warranty. She wants AWD and likes the turbo.

Hyundais are big in Iceland, which is where Long-Suffering and No Good Son In-Law is from, so she has driven a bunch of them.
