Yeah, could do that, but for whatever reason I don't like the idea of doubling up. I'm pretty sure it would be perfectly fine, but, I dunno, peace of mind doesn't like it.

Otherwise, just buy whatever canti-mount struts you can find and bend them to suit. They'll take it. The "Herse" ones may not be long enough, but they give the spec on their site and you could measure.
That's kinda what I'm thinking, but wasn't sure about the bending. I'll have to check the measurements-the Hearse ones are cro-mo and they say shouldn't be cut (I assume maybe they're hollow?), so I need to make sure the length will work..
