yesterday I broke my 5th metacarpal on a ride and the nurse splinted up my thumb and interior of my wrist and forearm. I can still move the broken side of my hand completely. I just wonder if its going to set right and it hurts like crazy, and I think I have a rather high pain tolerance. My appointment to see the ortho surgeon is on wednesday but I was wondering if I should go in this morning and ask at my base clinic if they splinted the right side because the military hospital out here is trash.....the island wide nick name is crippler.

whats the opinion in here?
