I don’t have one— yet!— but while the lamp locks solidly into the holder, it looks like the holder for the helmet mount is just like a GoPro mount and secured to the helmet mount with a thumbscrew, so depending on how much you tighten the screw, it will be more or less difficult to pivot the lamp. It seems pretty typical in that regard.
