I bought one 13g spoke and it still seemed a bit small, so I ordered some crazy Sapim e-bike spokes that are 12g at the bend, then taper to 13g, and use a reducing nipple that lets you get that thick spoke into a standard rim eyelet. Turns out a 12g spoke is 2.6mm thick, so should work. I’m learning a whole lot about spokes, and hopefully it translates into a solid wheel! Wish me luck.
if all that fails, you can use spoke washers.
