BTW, My lightest road bike is a tad under 23 pounds. The heaviest as-ridden bike weight is close to 30, but that includes toolkit, frame pump, rear rack, and lights.
That's easy to understand, it just means STEEL IS REAL! Ummm....well....except for the carbon beam.

Seriously though, I found that interesting too. Now in all honesty some of the bikes to make it into the 19 mph avg club were early rides this year where I wasn't riding well. I bet the Y-Foil, Pinarello, and Duell can pull off 20 mph rides right now and probably the Fishlips. The blue Lemond has a PR run on a 25 mile route of over 20 mph too. I am glad the fastest was not one of the full carbon bikes. I might have had to change my motto, LOL!
