To be clear, the Cino route is all on roads. Most of them just happen to be unpaved. Unlike Eroica, no one will stop you from riding a modern bike on Cino, but would you go to a costume party without a costume? Speaking of costumes, Cino is all in on vintage. Even the dinner encourages you to dress up as if it were times of yore.
