I've been looking for a Nishiki (square tube) Alien for some time, in almost any rebuildable condition. I wanted one of them when they came out in the 1990's but I was poor then, and could not afford one.
During my search I responded to a CL ad indocating an Alien frame for saIe. When I got to the bike I found it to be a Nishiki Areil frame, it seem to be in good shape so I bought it anyway. It was very inexpensive when I burst the owner's bubble that it was not an ALIEN. The faint decals on the bike proved the ARIEL model.
I'm going to build the bike while I continue my search for an ALIEN.
Was hopeing someone could shed some light on what year this frame was built.
Its black with blue spatter, the serial number is W890907701.
If anyone has a line on an ALIEN, I'm all ears, message me.
