may have begun life as a PX-10E of MCMLXXIII

the manufacturer went back to this lug pattern for one year at this time

the Juy dropouts are another clue

note the "blister" at the rear of the axle slot

this was the first year for this

it later received a threaded hole to accommodate an adjusting screw

one simple check which could be made would be to see if the person who performed the reworking retained the wood plug at the south end of the steerer
