It's worth having the better bikes in Zwift if you are racing or riding in fast groups when simply not getting dropped is a challenge. It's a bit like real life in that respect. A better bike gives you marginal gains in aero and weight. If you are just doing Zwift workouts and riding solo then it obviously doesn't matter what bike you ride.
