Hi All

I took my road bike (aethos pro) out while the roads were still wet and now the steering feels sandy and I hear a whooshing noise when I turn the handlebars.

I am going to attempt to service the headset and re apply some grease. Is it as simple as this makes it sound. Also and tips on how to perform this without a repair stand?
