markk900 It almost looks like it was removed by prying it off. There is still a little metal from the two spot welds but no deforming of the tubes or grinding marks. It is the very good condition of the paint and decals that is amazing on this bike. The rims and spokes are also rust free. It will be really nice when completed, but I am doing a similar Peugeot for a customer that is in much worse condition. When complete it will be given back to the customers brother as a gift. The brother toured Europe on it in the late seventies.
