Hi All

I took my road bike (aethos pro) out while the roads were still wet and now the steering feels sandy and I hear a whooshing noise when I turn the handlebars.

I am going to attempt to service the headset and re apply some grease. Is it as simple as this this video makes it sound. Also and tips on how to perform this without a repair stand?
