my Dad would always make a small fire on wintery hikes. he often snuck some nips in the case with the hot cocoa & tea. he recently gave up his backpack to me. he won't be hiking anymore due to his advanced age . guess what I found? a little fire starting kit almost identical to the one I carry myself. well, it made me glad. have a nice wintery hike!
