I've got a 56 cm Scott road bike, a 56 cm Specialized Diverge, and a medium AWOL (which has about the same reach as the Scott). And I've comfortably ridden the Scott and AWOL for hours at a time. I haven't owned the Diverge long enough to see how I fare over a long ride, but it feels like it fits perfectly and certainly fit better than the 54 I tried out.
I'm 178 cm which is almost 5'10, I got a 54 diverge expert and found my legs cramped inside the bike with my toes occasionally in the way of front tires however upper body was stretched. Unfortunately got into an accident and cracked my frame now I've ordered size 56 online and waiting for it to arrive. Quite nervous regarding the fit, could you spare a thought on what kind of fit problems I may encounter?
