I don't really have much holding me back up here with the exception of my team that I may miss for a little. Does anyone know of any good routes down in that area to ride?

Also, I didn't see many races or clubs down in that area which I'm surprised about, anyone know of any? the NH and MA area is usually filled with races.

As far as I know, Greenville is the only city that officially has George Hincapie Day. Also home of Hincapie sports. He trains in the area. I know he does the bakery run from Tigerville,SC to Saluda, NC. Paris Mtn. is also a good ride. Lance was in Greenville twice last fall. Greenville will be hosting the USPRO championships this year. It's becoming quite a cycling savy town IMO.

I'm not a racer, but as I understand the Winter Bike League raced all winter (see foothillscyclists). The spring training season has now started and they run every week. I'm a member of the Spinners, and if you would like I can put you in touch with our race team coordinator. Their are also other teams in the area.
