Merziac, I noticed that too. The previous owner was 6'1" and apparently had the seat stem adjusted WAY up to the very last few millimeters. I was able to get the stem all the way down but not without a lot of effort. It does seem like the seat post (tube? ) was compromised. As I am 5'8' I will be keeping most of the stem buried so do not think I need to worry. Still, something to keep an eye on. Thanks.
