Yes exactly, the only thing you need to change is the direction of the bolts (you can see in the picture in my other post) so that they have grip also on a single chainring, it works.

In term of weight I do not recall the weight of the litepro+bb but it was maybe 20 grams less than the campagnolo+bb. See below the picture of the weight of the campagnolo cranks with the bearings: 480 grams. if you add the bottom brackets cup it is plus 40 or 50 grams = 530 grams in total.
Honestly those additional 20 grams or so worth so much, much stiffer and enjoyable to cycle:
