Based on the 171, I would guess the bike to be of 1971 vintage. I am not sure what the first 1 indicates. Based on the component group fitted, I would like to think it is a top dog in the Bianchi kennel but will work to properly determine its pedigree. I am looking forward to the build which will begin as soon as I get back to my summer home at the Loon Lake...
