I have a pair of these— they look great, laces, nice colour, stiff sole, comfy to walk in, reasonably priced. However, the toe box is far too big for me. I can use them with plain pedals, but they are too wide for clips and straps. Even if I use wider pedals and giant clips, they rub against my crank arms. I just need to borrow
merziac ’s example and convert one of my stiff soled Italian fit dress shoes— thin and narrow. Those always fit my feet like a glove.
You are right about the toe box. My feet walk on the wide side. I can't do narrow shoes, cycling or not.
