Its brand new on eBay as damaged /non-operating. The price is good for a low end Allez, but its not a steal. Its my size, and I could use it as a trainer/commuter bike.
Considering it, but not 100% sold on it.
I bought a top-end Specialized M4 in 1999 with less of a dent in the top tube from a Specialized dealer. I paid about 33% of retail, rode it many thousand miles, and the frame was warrantied by specialized when a chainstay broke unrelatedly. That was wothwhile but unfortunately I didn't love the replacement E5 as much as my beloved M4.
