If the QL has instructions for it being a directional install, it could decouple.

Somebody sent me a used chain with some parts I bought. A little short, so I used the quick link that came with it.

Did you check the thin air? They usually go there, but that thin are is so quick that it would be slim to none in recovering it no matter how hard you squint.
