Tires that use imperial fractions dimensions are a whole totally different ETRTO breed and cannot be replaced with tires of decimal notations.

The only time something can be shared between the two are inner tubes, ie., a 26x1.2-1.5 tube can be used in both 26x1-3/8 and 26x1.50 tire.
