I remember seeing him in the P/1 field at Valley of the Sun stage race 4 or 5 years ago, the year it rained on day 2. There was lots of support and buzz around him before the stage 1 TT, needless to say he absolutely smashed it. He abandoned the race after that due to the weather, didn't start day 2.
