Popular cross racing setup is a Donnelley PDX in the front and MXP in the rear. Mixed tire setup.
Given this topic I may try it for my gravel tire setup as you all suggest for smoother rear since I ride greenway there and back to the gravel and the gravel isn't super difficult at all.
