You may want to put this as it's own post in the General Discussion forum. You'll probably get a better response.
I don't know about everyone else, but my bike shop here in Chicago allows us to return the bike within a month of purchase. If you suspect something is wrong with your bike, take it back to where you got it immediately. Either they can identify the problem and fix it, or they can exchange it for a new bike.
