Maybe gaudy is nice for a change. I have several conservative looking bikes. Even my 85 Ironman is conservative. Gaudy might be okay if it isn’t irreversible. The further from stock the subject bike is, the more is allowed. Might be your mood that day for that ride is whimsical. Enjoy the ride mostly, and please yourself.
