Bikes: Old steel Roadmaster

My Roadmaster probably counts as a cheap Wal-Mart bike, since it was originally purchased at Wal-Mart at a cost (I'm told) of about $75.

That said, I've ridden it over 2500 miles since August, and it's held up fine. I replaced the front brake pads and both tires, which had been sitting flat in my dad's garage for several years, and I upgraded the pedals. Also, I've had to adjust the Shimano SIS rear derailleur a couple of times--but only a couple.

Note: My bike is one of the older models--made in USA with round tubing, all steel, 10-speed, with no suspension. It has 26 x 1.75 tires, weighs around 32 pounds, and has an average speed of 13-14 mph with its current--inadequate--engine I can't comment on recent Wal-Mart bikes, but the ones I've seen seem to be cheaper (and have tackier decals!) than mine.
