For your derailleurs, if they are anodized, I would only clean, service and polish. For the chrome, oil and finger nail can probably clean most the oxidation, some will do water and foil rub.

I'm wondering if your front derailleur has had some damage, the tail of the cage looks high. The operation may be fine though.
