Don't shower with it regularly
If you wear a Garmin Fenix watch in the shower every day, the barometer will start leaking after 6 to 9 months. It will take an hour or two to dry after that and will give you incorrect readings until it's dry. It's waterproof and needs a charge once a week, so I didn't see a reason to take it off. That was consistent over a couple of them. The last one went almost 3 years without developing that, and I swam regularly with it, so it either takes a lot of exposure to water to happen, or might be from soap?
I don't know if the Venu has the same issue, but you have a barometer and it's a really nice watch. So I wanted to let you know. 🙂
